Frequently Asked Questions
Nominations for The Probate Industry Awards 2026 are open now! Deadline for submissions is Friday 19 December 2025.
Nominations are submitted online and restricted to 500 words.
The Award Entry Pack is a guidance pack designed to include the key points and criteria that the judges will be looking for within the nomination entries. In addition to outlining the entry requirements for each award category we offer, it is a helpful guide for our hopeful entrants to make use of when working on their final submissions.
An individual / company is limited to entering a total of 5 categories.
If you are interested in nominating an external contact of yours but are concerned that this will bring you over the 5-entry limit, we will remove the restriction for any additional gifted/external nominations. To request more slots on the Nominations Portal, please get in contact with the Probies team via email.
The cost of the Nomination Criteria Pack is £200.00.
This is the only cost involved throughout the nominations process and is not applicable to each entry you wish to submit.
All nominations are expected to be between 400-1000 words.
The shortlist is ordinarily announced 2-3 months prior to the awards ceremony. The list of our finals is published on our website and the announcement is made via social media and email.
If you want to ensure you do not miss out on the shortlist announcement, please check out our homepage, join our mailing list or follow us on LinkedIn or Twitter. Alternatively, you can get in contact with the Probies Team via email to register your interest.
Nominations of the Probate Industry Awards go through a rigorous judging process where at least 2 judges will provide their comments and scores for each award category against the criteria outlined in the Award Entry Pack. Our Head Judge and Founder, David Stoch, has overall final say in the case of a split decision.
Judges are chosen based on their expertise in the Probate sector and are allocated categories to ensure we avoid conflict of interest or bias. Judges do not financially benefit from their involvement in the Probies and are invaluable to the success of the awards!
Judges’ comments can be shared with nominees post-award ceremony upon request to the Probies team.
