We’re delighted to announce that The Probate Industry Awards 2027 will take place at the spectacular Assembly Hall at Church House Westminster, London.

And what a setting it is.

Located in the heart of Westminster, the Assembly Hall is one of London’s most impressive and historic event spaces. Beneath its magnificent 30-foot glass dome, surrounded by polished English oak, the venue can welcome up to 600 guests – making it a suitably show-stopping setting for one of the biggest nights in the probate industry calendar.

A venue steeped in history

Completed in 1939, the Assembly Hall was designed by renowned British architect Sir Herbert Baker as the centrepiece of Church House Westminster.

The Grade I listed Church House has played a fascinating role in British and international history. Its foundation stone was laid by Queen Mary in 1937 and the building was officially opened by King George VI in 1940.

During the Second World War, Church House provided a wartime home for Parliament, with both the House of Commons and House of Lords sitting within the building. It later hosted some of the earliest meetings of the United Nations, including the first meeting of the UN Security Council in 1946.

More recently, Church House Westminster was selected to host receptions marking the State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and the Coronation of King Charles III, welcoming royalty and heads of state from around the world.

And in 2027, it will welcome the probate profession for a rather special celebration of its own.

The stage is set…

The Probate Industry Awards bring together legal professionals, probate researchers, technology providers and the many organisations supporting the sector to recognise outstanding achievements, innovation and individuals making a real difference.

Our move to the Assembly Hall marks an exciting new chapter for the awards – and we’re already looking forward to seeing this extraordinary space transformed for a night of celebration, recognition and, of course, plenty of Probies glitz and glamour.
